Fluffy Yummy Pancakes

Serves:

8 Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg

  • ¾ cup milk or plant-based milk

  • ¼ cup butter or plant-based butter, melted


  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 tbsp sugar or sweetener

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

Preparation

Grill/Griddle


  1. Combine egg, milk, and butter in a small bowl, mix until smooth. In a medium bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; stir until combined. Slowly add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl, stir until just moistened. Do not over-mix, or pancakes will be tough and not fluffy.

  2. Place Grill/Griddle plate on Cooker and touch the - / + to adjust desired temperature. Adjust timer as needed. Set temperature to 180°C and wait 3-4 minutes until heated.

  3. Pour pancake batter with a ¼ cup measure on to greased hot griddle. When bubbles start to form, about 2 minutes; flip and cook until second side is done, about 2 more minutes.

  4. Serve immediately plain, with fresh fruit, hazelnut chocolate spread with banana or strawberries and whipped cream, or with maple syrup.
