1 large egg
¾ cup milk or plant-based milk
¼ cup butter or plant-based butter, melted
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar or sweetener
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
Preparation
Grill/Griddle
Combine egg, milk, and butter in a small bowl, mix until smooth. In a medium bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; stir until combined. Slowly add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl, stir until just moistened. Do not over-mix, or pancakes will be tough and not fluffy.
Place Grill/Griddle plate on Cooker and touch the - / + to adjust desired temperature. Adjust timer as needed. Set temperature to 180°C and wait 3-4 minutes until heated.
Pour pancake batter with a ¼ cup measure on to greased hot griddle. When bubbles start to form, about 2 minutes; flip and cook until second side is done, about 2 more minutes.
Serve immediately plain, with fresh fruit, hazelnut chocolate spread with banana or strawberries and whipped cream, or with maple syrup.
