Ingredients
1 tbsp oil
8 flour tortillas
2 cups (225g) grated cheese of choice
1 can (115g) diced green chilies, drained
1 cup shredded cooked chicken
Salsa, for serving
Preparation
Closed Position
Plates: Grill or Griddle
Place grill or griddle plates onto the Grill Master and preheat both to 210°C by touching the SANDWICH button or touch TEMP once and – button to desired temperature. Touch OK to start preheating.
For each quesadilla, brush a small amount of oil on two tortillas. Flip over one tortilla and scatter on a few tbsp of cheese, leaving a 1-inch border around the edge. Top with a couple of tbsp of green chilies, some shredded chicken, and more cheese. Place the other tortilla, oiled side up, on top.
Transfer one quesadilla to the grill, in the Closed position, grill the quesadilla until the cheese is melted and tortilla is crispy, 3-4 minutes. Repeat until all tortillas are cooked.
Cut the quesadilla in to wedges and serve with salsa.
